I have been neglecting my lonely little blog. Well, here is the short version ofthe past few months. Logan turned 1 and got lots of presents, love and kisses..we said goodbye to our dog Pearl who went to doggy heaven, we miss her TONS...Kristen went to California to celebrate 5 years sobriety at the rehab she went to...yahoo!! Peter has offically been summoned to live in the Anchorage area so sadly, we will be moving from Kenai but it is so good to envision our family really living together...Kristen had a total knee replacement just 2 weeks ago and is doing super...my Mom came to visit during that time and was a big help, along with Peter's Mom helping, it has been a good recovery...Logan still plays with her good friends Justus, Keegan and Grace. She loves to go to the park and she does a super job climbing and sliding and loves to swing, man does she like swings. We had a decent summer fishing, we stocked up on halibut, then dipnetted red salmon and smoked it...yummy...and Kristen caught her first King salmon...and that pretty well covers the highlights, we pray all of you are well and give your our warm blessings...

Long time, no entry.

Hi world, I have been very neglectful at updates. Not to worry, I don't even know who looks anyway! Hee hee. This past few weeks have been crazy. I have been doing a little more work for my at-home, consulting business. It keeps my mind fresh. Logan began crawling on 4/19 and was fully transitioned off soy formula to cow milk. She had no problems making the switch. Dr. said it was time for her to switch so it's a done deal. She recently had a nasty flu bug or some yucky thing, lots of unpleasant things exiting the body from all orifices. Poor little pumpkin. She has been having lots of fun crawling and exploring and can pull herself to stand given the right piece of furniture or such. Peter had a succesful nose/throat surgery for sleep apnea and while it was AWFULLY painful, he is doing so much better breathing and sleeping...and a whole lot less snoring! It's just a purr now instead of a freight train/earthquake. Yep, it was worth it. Well, toodles for now, will update pics after bday on 5/3>>>love ya-Kristen

Whew..

Been awhile since I logged on.... Logan is keeping me hopping. She is gettign new teeth like crazy and has the mood to prove it...she will be crawling soon and she is having fun eating new things..loves to play with the neighbor boys, Justus & Keegan...they will be fighting over her someday!! hee hee

Here she is trying to make us think she will drink this can of Diet Coke. Alas, I would not open it for her so she had to settle for gumming the rim. Her Daddy thought that she likes the way the cold can feels on her gums...guess he was right.

It's time for me to hit the hay. Today I sort of tried to kill my new computer by moving a few files from my old one. There was some sort of Trojan Horse trying to piggyback in on them and infect my spankin' new puter. I killed the horses but man, what a mess and time consuming. I am done with that, new docs will have to be created. Adios.

Ok, what's up ?

Yep, why do you get old and things start to ache and hurt ?? Lugging around 20 pound baby seems to do a number on my neck or back or arms...somethin' hurts. She is worth it though. My chiropractor will be glad for the business ! Gotta get adjusted in the morning because my neck is so tweeked. Logan has 4 more teeth coming in and she is letting me know that she is none too pleased. Poor kiddo. I attached a pic today of little Logan and her friend Grace. Grace looks bigger but trust me, she is not. She is 2 mos. old and the angle of the shot makes them look closer in size than they are. Grace is my friend Anna's baby. Yes, the Anna who was in my wedding and was my boss. Now we are both retired from the bank, whatever will they do without us !!! (Get by...I'm sure) Anyway, my new computer arrived today and I can't wait to play with it. It has to be better than this one...we will see how long it takes me to twist it up, you know, sometimes computers are just too much work...Bless your day...

ALOHA!!!!

Get this, last night, my friend Lynn who I worked with at Wells Fargo when I spent time in Soldotna....she wins this fabulous trip to Hawaii from the bank for being a national Super star. She has won almost every year and I always joked with her, "You taking me?" It was our little joke. She calls and says, "Want to go to Hawaii for free with me?" WHOOOOOOAAAA, I was so suprised. I talked to Peter and we both agreed, I better go. It was hard to decide to miss Logan for 5 days and I know I will miss her like crazy but this is just such an opportunity. I will go May 7-11 and Daddy will stay home and maybe Grammy B. and Aunt Michele will help him some.....I have to talk to them about that. I have never been to Hawaii and it's all free...meals, flight, Hilton room on Waikii beach. I'm really excited.
Other news, there is nothing like "blackout" shades to keep your baby asleep in Alaska. We are gaining daylight every day and that little sweetie kept trying to get up earlier and earlier. HAHH-fixed her, got new shades and now she sleep in past 7 AM. Thank you God ! I was getting weary of 5 and 6 AM. It's dark in there man, she snoozes like a champ. Ok ..Maholoa..

So, my Mom wanted a blog now once she saw this and I whipped one together for her. She is so funny. After I made it for her, she couldn't log in to add her pics of her puppies. You can bet she will get it done somehow...
Oh, it is so sunny today...not warm, but sunny and bright. Too bad it's like 6 degrees or Logan could go for a stroller ride. Right now she is yelling out, listenining to herself make noise. She is a hoot. Later in the day, Logan went to playgroup at Frontier Comm. Services where she used to get therapy, but now she is a "peer" who graduated and I like to take her because she knows everyone and has fun. It's so nice they let us come back to be a part of it. So..chow for now..

Day 1

Well, this is going to be an adventure and we'll see how long I keep it up ! My plan is to add a little story each day about what is happening with us, share new pics (mainly of Logan) and put our own little imprint in cyberspace. Yippee!! Naturally, the entries will be impacted by my actual availability of time and if I can keep the rest of you from being bored stiff....tee hee. So, here it goes...

Today was a really fun day for me. My friend Lisa came over and we watched movies and played with Logan. The day flew by..some days are not like that. Logan is just getting over a double ear infection (you can see swabs in her ears on the big pic) so thank you Lord for clearing that up so quickly. Other news, I started my own little home business which will get moving very soon. Like soon as Gateway gets their act together and builds my whiz-banger new computer. It is called Premier Professional Consulting..wheeweee..I know...I am doing editing, proofreading, writing, flyer design, just about anything that has to do with the written word for middle management and self-employed types. It will be fun and I can do however much or little as I want. FYI- I will be writing on my blog in a much looser fashion than that sort of thing so don't get the wrong idea! I actually do a good job.
